An apprentice vacancy has opened within the Execution Services team. Execution Services is responsible for all securities and FX trading carried out on behalf of client firms and their customers. They are responsible for all aspects of the Execution Services proposition, including workflow controls, best execution reporting, provider selection and management, promoting the service to client firms and revenue recognition.
Multrees have hired over 20 apprentices via QA so don't worry, you are in safe hands!
What will you be doing?
- Supporting with buying and selling listed investments using Bloomberg, a trading and market information system. You will become an expert on this.
- Processing fund trades – helping to buy and sell investment funds, either manually or via online platform, Calastone. Calastone is a specialist platform for fund dealing.
- Liaising with brokers via telephone and MS Outlook.
- Working in collaboration with other teams at Multrees where applicable and managing requests in a ticketing manner.
- Updating and maintaining data so that Calastone and Bloomberg run smoothly.
- Helping with foreign exchange (FX) trades and providing digital support on the backhand of it.
- Sending trades to third‑party custodians and checking that everything has gone through correctly.
- Working with external Fund Managers to resolve queries or get information.
- Following processes and controls to reduce risks and ensure Multrees meet all rules and compliance requirements.

Salary: £20,500 per annum. Your salary will be discussed upon completion of your apprenticeship.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
