Apprentice/Trainee Fitter – The Great Shutter Co/The Great Blind Co
The Great Shutter Co. Ltd had built a strong reputation for excellent service. We are looking for a apprentice/trainee blind and shutter fitter to join our existing team. It is vitally important that the candidate has a can do attitude, is hard working and has a positive and out-going manner.
The role responsibilities include:
- Fitting plantation shutters and blinds in customers’ homes and commercial premises
- Dealing with our customers in a professional and friendly manner
- The ability to work on your own and to take initiative as you will ultimately be working on your own or leading a 2 man team.
- Monday - Friday, Start 8.00am and Finish 5.00pm
Candidate requirements:
- Confident, well presented, punctual and hardworking with excellent customer focus and attention to detail
- 25-30 years old
- Living within 20-25 minutes drive from Winchester
- Full driving licence
- Proficient in the use of hand and electric tools and a variety of fixing materials
- Basic carpentry skills an advantage.
Package: Self employed: £24K per annum and rising to £25K after 6 months probation.
