About the role
Key details:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (8.30am start on Fridays), 37 hours per week, Term-time only
Wage: £7.55 per hour
Location: Great Ayton, Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, TS9 6EP
Apprenticeship Standard: Level 3 Business Administration
Duration: 16 months
Overview of the role
This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the office and develop a wide range of administrative and communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling enquiries from parents, staff, and the community via face-to-face interaction, phone, and email.
- Carrying out general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and routine correspondence.
- Using a variety of IT systems to complete data entry and other computer-based tasks.
- Assisting with the monitoring, maintenance, and distribution of stock, including ordering supplies when required.
- Supporting general financial administration, including raising purchase orders, ordering stock, and checking deliveries.
- Demonstrating a duty of care and complying with all Health & Safety requirements at all times.
Apprenticeship Summary:
- You will work towards your Level 3 Business Administrator qualification across a total duration of 16 months!

- An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship!

Apprenticeship Overview
- The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.
