Introduction
Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust is a supported housing project, which provides hostel accommodation for young women. We currently operate in the borough of Lewisham and have our main hostel in Brockley, and our second stage shared property in New Cross. We have 27 bed spaces altogether. As such, this role is only open to female applicants.
What’s the role?
We’re looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives; to gain experience in business administration, you will have great attention to detail and be an excellent communicator.
We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday. This role is temporary for 18 months.
Working closely with the Facilities Officer, you will be responsible for the reception area and supporting the Facilities Officer with building management.

What we’re looking for
- We are seeking an inspirational, passionate, and experienced candidate to the role of Business Administration Apprentice.
- The successful applicant will gain experience in business administration and facilities management with a desire to support, equip, and meet the needs of MPMT’s residents.
- They will work with a diligent team of Directors and co-workers dedicated to serving their residents and communities well.

In-Person, Onsite, Southeast London (Brockley)
Special conditions
- This role is only open to female applicants.

- Good general standard of education including as a minimum English and Mathematics GCSE at grade A*-C or equivalent is required for this role.
- The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
- Applicants will not have been a resident of MPMT for 6 years prior to their application
- Applicants must be at least 22 years of age
- The office is located on the 3rd floor of a building with stairs

Salary
£25,276 per annum (LLW)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
