About the Department
Birmingham City Women FC supports the development of players from the U10s through to the first-team. The Women’s department is made up of the following six sections; Coaching, Medical, Analysis, Performance, Recruitment and Operations. We overlap with our support to ensure that our standards are met as a culture that are lived through our values. Our primary care is towards developing the best players and the best people.
About the Role
Birmingham City Women FC are seeking a reliable and committed Academy Intern who has participated in The Powerhouse Project, to support the development of players within the club’s academy pathway. This role is important to ensure the club maintains high standards of delivery and execution across the youth development phase of the Academy.

- Demonstrate curiosity and ambition to develop themselves.
- The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other coaches and the multi-disciplinary team.
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Good organisational skills
- A UEFA C / FA Level 2 and / or working towards the UEFA B Licence
- An in-date DBS (To be completed by the club during the recruitment process)
- An FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football
- An FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
