CRIW Film & TV Apprentice
Duration: 12 months (June 2026 – June 2027)
Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Media Creation, Production and Craft Support
Want real experience working within the TV and Film industry here in south Wales?
Ready to gain a Level 3 qualification in Creative and Digital Media AND to earn whilst you learn? Successful applicants will gain hands-on experience with major Production companies right here in Wales.
Be prepared to spend a year immersed in a variety of companies, meet new people and work hard to complete new challenges - with a salary to support you as you learn. Apprentices will learn about the skills needed to build a career in the media, gain hands-on practical training, make industry contacts and gain technical and professional skills.
Previous and current apprentices have worked with various companies and productions as part of the CRIW scheme. Productions have included H is for Hawk, The War Between the Land and the Sea, The Way, Lost Boys & Fairies, Pren ar y Bryn, Creisis, Gen Z, Time Stalker, Delia Balmer, Out There, Sex Education series 4, Black Cake, Wolf, Luke Evans Showtime, Steel Town Murders, Craith/Hidden 3, Jamie Johnson, 4 Stories, Extinction, War of The Worlds 3, A Million Days (film), Y Gyfrinach, The Light In The Hall / Y Golau, Casualty, Dal y Mellt, In My Skin 2, Havoc (feature film), The Trick, Casualty and The Pact II
