Dog Daycare Apprentice (Future Manager) – Harrogate
We are a busy and friendly dog daycare based in Harrogate, and we are looking for a motivated and dog-loving individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Apprentice, with the long-term goal of progressing into a Manager role.
This is a 1-year apprenticeship programme designed to train the right candidate in all aspects of running a successful dog daycare. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and qualification, there will be a substantial pay increaseand the opportunity to step into a management position.
What the role involves:
- Caring for dogs in a daycare environment
- Learning dog behaviour, handling, and welfare
- Assisting with daily operations of the daycare
- Supporting team leadership and learning management responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with dogs and their owners
About you:
- Aged 18–24 (to meet apprenticeship requirements)
- Lives in Harrogate
- Has previous experience with dogs (paid work or voluntary experience)
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Passionate about working with animals and developing a long-term career
