This role is based at Culham, Oxfordshire.
The scheme requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.
Through UKAEA’s Apprenticeship Scheme, you will build the technical expertise, practical experience, and wider professional skills required for both your current role and future career progression. This is achieved through a combination of formal off‑the‑job learning and on‑the‑job training within a real working environment.
The Role
As a Control Systems Degree Apprentice, you will support the Control & Instrumentation Group providing expertise, support and services across the organisation for UKAEA projects and programmes. We have extensive experience in leading, designing, building, installing and commissioning electrical, control and instrumentation systems. We define UKAEA wide processes and procedures for Control & Instrumentation engineering activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
The length of the Control Systems Degree Apprenticeship will be 48 months.
