Job Description:
Mobile Apprentice Audiologist covering Eltham and Croydon Practices. Must be based in a location commutable to both sites.
- Full time 40 hours per week
- Basic salary from £27,000
- 25 days paid holiday and 8 bank holiday days
- Fantastic opportunity to develop clinically and gain skills and qualifications through our university apprenticeship program. In your first year of employment you will train and qualify as a Hear Care Assistant HCA which will give you a superb foundation to buid the neccessary skills and knowledge. You will start your University Apprentiship Program in year 2 and gain a Level 5 Hearing Aid Dispensing HAD degree. Full training and support is provided, with additional training in tinnitus treatments such as CBT and TRT and ear wax removal

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION.
In this role, you will:
- Use audiometric and otoscopic test equipment to agreed HPC and Company standards, ensuring current calibration requirements are met.
- Select and demonstrate hearing aids, whenever and wherever appropriate, to agreed standards and carry out the fitting of hearing aids.
- Perform ear wax removal. using sophisticated microsuction and irrigation methods.
- Complete service appointments and rehabilitation appointments and re-fitting of hearing aids as necessary and on time.
- Take aural and digital impressions for the manufacture of hearing aids to agreed standards.
