Apprenticely is working with our company partner, the Scott Family Amazeum to add a Digital Marketing Intern to their team in Bentonville, Arkansas!
Our Apprenticely Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor/IT support team. Internships are designed as an on-ramp to an IT career and can roll into full-time positions based on employer demand.
About our Company Partner: The Scott Family Amazeum is a hands-on, interactive museum in Northwest Arkansas and recognized as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to engage the imagination of children and their families through interactive exhibits, programs, and resources while creating an excitement for lifelong learning and the enrichment of lives! They create a fun environment where risk taking, imagining, problem solving, discovery, collaboration, and exploration bring children and adults together to learn and grow!
Through experiences with the Amazeum, individuals and the community are engaged in building relationships and developing identities as creative, curious, and innovative shapers for the region. Learning at the Amazeum is an active, playful exploration that inspires curiosity. It is rooted in inquiry-based discovery and involves an element of risk. Hands-on learning opportunities allow guests to exercise critical thinking in the context of play.
What You'll Do...
- Help tell the story of the Amazeum—capturing moments that show how we inspire creativity and curiosity in our community
- Capture high-quality photo and video content of museum experiences, events, and off-site programs
- Edit and prepare media for use across digital platforms (social media, website, e-newsletters, etc.)Support the creation of written content including blog posts, social media captions, and newsletters
- Assist with digital campaign planning and scheduling across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
- Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during events and programs
- Represent the Amazeum at off-site events—must have reliable transportation
- Collaborate across departments and be ready to jump in wherever needed—this is a hands-on, “learn-by-doing” kind of internship
Our Must Haves...
- Strong skills in photography and video production (portfolio or sample work encouraged)
- Experience with basic editing tools (Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, Lightroom, etc.)
- Interest in storytelling and a knack for writing with clarity and creativity
- Knowledge of digital media trends and how to engage audiences online
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A self-starter who’s comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation for off-site events and flexibility in scheduling
- Passion for learning, creativity, and helping others connect with the Amazeum’s mission
Details
- Pay: $15/hour
- Schedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
- Length of Internship: 3 months
- Location: Bentonville, Arkansas
How does the interview process work? ACDS will conduct an initial phone interview and assessment. ACDS will send selected resumes to companies that match the candidate’s skills and interests. Our employer partners will decide who to interview and select the final candidates for the internship program.
