What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Apprentice Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. You will gain practical experience in:
- Participate in the quality assurance stage of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
- Conduct both manual and automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and free from any bugs before it reaches end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to log defects, provide regular updates, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop an understanding of the software development lifecycle, mastering techniques to analyse requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and execute a diverse array of test scenarios.
- Translate complex technical information into actionable insights, effectively reporting on test progress and defects to drive continuous improvement.
Training and Support:
- You will work towards your Level 4 Software Tester Apprenticeship throughout the 16-month programme.
