What exactly will you be doing?
As the junior CRM and D365 developer you are expected to assist in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365, such as creating forms, views, workflows, and business rules. You will support senior developers by writing simple plugins, JavaScript scripts, and Power Automate flows to meet business requirements. You will help with data imports, testing customisations, and debugging issues to ensure that the system functions as expected. You will be expected to perform a level of BAU work to support the existing CRM system while gaining knowledge of AAT’s business processes. Finally, you will be expected to actively learn the platform, stay updated on new features, and collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality business solutions. But that's not all, you will also be pursuing an Apprenticeship, equipping you with invaluable skills and knowledge for your future success.
Major objectives
AAT are seeking a passionate and driven CRM and Power Platform Apprentice Software Developer to join our development team. This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within the field of CRM and Power Platform development. You will work alongside experienced developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, maintain, and enhance solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and a basic understanding of software development.
What are we looking for?
- Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles, how businesses use CRM tools like Dynamics 365 to manage customer interactions
- A basic understanding of how to build custom apps using Power Apps, including canvas apps and model-driven apps
- Knowledge of how to automate workflows and integrate various services by building automated processes using Power Automate
- Understanding of database principles such as tables, relationships, and queries
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Power FX (for Power Apps development)
- Ability to understand business process and identify opportunities for automation using Power Platform and CRM tools
- Ability to approach tasks with problem solving mindset, especially when creating workflows, automations, or handling system configurations
