An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Data Entry Apprentice to join our busy Registry Department at Bishop Auckland College.

Pay:
£6.40 per hour (Apprentice National Minimum Wage). After the first-year wage will go up to NMW for those aged 19+
Hours:
37 hours per week
Duration:
Temporary position for 21 months
The successful candidate will be trained on aspects in the Registry department including inputting and amending student, course, timetabling and attendance data using our management information systems. You will also be dealing with room booking requests and providing excellent customer service to both staff and students.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will be supported in gaining your Level 3 in Business Administration.
The successful candidate will require Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4/C or above including: GCSE English at Grade 4/ C or above or equivalent and GCSE Maths at Grade 4/C or above or equivalent. It is desirable that you hold an IT qualification.
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
