Overview:
We are now looking for eager candidates to join us as apprentices.
You will be titled Implementation Analyst (Configuration) Apprentice.
You will:
- Support the execution of client implementation projects to a high standard within a controlled project environment.
- Participate in project status calls.
- Liaise with third parties and Capita departments.
Location:
Home based, but travel to Darlington [DL1 9HB], Sheffield [S4 7TL] or London [EC2T 7NQ] will be required to spend time with the team and attend relevant meetings.
Duties / Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement products and services on our technology platforms.
- Deliver Pensions calculation automation.
- Support the resolution of client queries and issues.
- Support our Project Managers and Implementation Consultants through the efficient delivery of project tasks.
- Analyse Calculation requirements.
- Undertake system configuration, data analysis, and testing.
- Upload and download system data.
- Collate and combine scheme and data information from various sources.
- Support the production of requirement documentation.
What we are looking for:
Required experience / skills:
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to produce documents at a level appropriate to the target audience.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Understanding of MS Excel – can demonstrate the ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totalling), lookups.
- Ability to manipulate data.
- Can prioritise work and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Attention to detail - reviews output to ensure errors are minimised, learns from mistakes and is open to feedback.
- Ability to use and complete checklists.
Desirable experience / skills:
- Can draft an automated excel calculator with formula.
- Have a basic understanding of the key stages of the project lifecycle.

Entry requirements:
Standard entry:
- Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
Plus:
- 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
Working week:
37.5 hours a week.
