Job Summary
We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our installation team.
Based in Louth, we offer a full scope of electrical services, including commercial, industrial, renewables & domestic. We are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical installation work to commercial, industrial and domestic premises including leisure parks, hotels, factories.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
- Performing EICRs and other testing procedures.
- Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Ensuring the highest standards are maintained on site, liaising with clients and other trades alike.
- Managing day-to-day projects on site, communicating clearly with team members including in-house trainees, giving guidance and sharing knowledge when needed.
- Maintaining company equipment and cleanliness of company vehicle.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
- Our normal hours are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, paid at £20.08 hourly. Any time worked after 4pm is paid at x 1.5 rate. Saturday mornings between 8am-1pm also paid at x 1.5 overtime rate, and double time after 1pm. Sundays also paid at x 2 rate. Regular overtime opportunities.
Qualifications / Essential Requirements
- Apprentice trained (minimum 5 year time served apprenticeship)
- NVQ level 3
- AM2
- City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- City & Guilds 2391 qualification advantageous but not mandatory
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Confident with excellent communication skills
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Ability to use own initiative or work as part of larger team
