Assistant installation engineer
Permanent – full time role
Monday – Friday
We are an engineering business based in Bangor county down, some of the products we manufacture and supply include:
Industrial roller shutters, commercial roller shutters, garage doors, fire roller shutters, security steel door sets, and high speed doors.
Due to continual growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an assistant installation engineer to join our team.
The right candidate will assist with installations, repairs and maintenance to all types of industrial doors with an Engineer: This Engineer will be responsible and act as a direct line manager to the recruite:
We require an individual with a general understanding of the engineering industry and someone willing to learn, we offer the opportunity of taking the next step and becoming an installation engineer to the right candidate based of their progression.
Duties and responsibilities:
assisting with installing, repairing and maintaining industrial doors using hand tools and power tools
keeping the work vehicle clean and organised.
assisting the setting up and clearing on site
Working in a team, will be supervised and instructed
Fault finding on limited experience
Problem solving as required to have general knowledge of assembly and errection of steelwork
Skills and abilities:
Professional and organised
Good communication skills
Adhering to health and safety at all times
Previous experience within the industry. an advantage, full training will be given
Wages to be discussed based on knowledge and experience.
Interviews will be held at the factory offices.
