James Frew Ltd is now one of the largest privately owned building services companies in Scotland, providing property solutions, including plumbing, heating, mechanical services, gas maintenance, and building upgrades for the public and private sectors. Based in Stevenston Ayrshire, Glasgow, Inverclyde, Dumfries, we directly employ over 410 people including 56 apprentices.
We are currently seeking to recruit time-served plumbers (books-in) to join our new teams on new build and refurbishment projects in Ayrshire, Glasgow, and Renfrewshire. Our new build teams are installing air source heat pumps and full installation and commissioning training will be provided for candidates looking to specialise in this area of the industry.
We offer excellent enhanced rates of pay, opportunities to earn bonus, long term prospects, holiday pay and company pension contributions. Gas qualified is desirable but not essential.

Successful candidates will:
· Be determined to succeed with a positive “can-do” attitude.
· Have significant experience of working a new build and refurbishment projects.
· Have excellent plumbing skills.
· Possess and up to date CSCS card.
· Be able to work accurately to drawings with minimum supervision.
Plumbers are responsible for:
· Carrying out plumbing tasks including the installation hot and cold-water systems and pipework, sanitary ware, drainage and gutter and downpipe systems.
· Carrying out all tasks safely and to an agreed high standard.
