Job Description:
Flair Windows, have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join their experienced team of fabricators, gaining a Level 2 apprenticeship in Fenestration Fabricator. The successful candidate will be mentored by an experienced team who will support individuals to become fully skilled and qualified in this industry.
On completion of the level 2 Fenestration qualification, providing you show the correct skills and abilities, you will have the opportunity to progress onto a full-time position and possibly a level 3 apprenticeship.

JOB SUMMARY
Assist with the day-to-day manufacturing process of UPVC windows ensuring that compliance to company procedures is maintained.
Responsibilities
Cutting - locate and select profile, load material into cutting machine, measure cut profile and check angles and routering are within specification, label and store product.
Welding - operate welding machine to build frames and sashes in accordance with labelled profile, checking welding temperature and Teflon plates for defects, scan product for tracking.
Corner cleaning - machine clean welded products. Inspect cleaned product ensuring cleaned frame is within specification. Scan into location.
Window gearing - scan window sashes to check hardware requirements, assemble hardware as required, check quality and scan into location.
Window hanging - scan window sashes to check hardware requirements, assemble hardware as required, check quality and take to next process.
Door gearing - scan window sashes to check hardware requirements, assemble hardware as required, check quality and scan into location.
Door hanging - scan window sashes to check hardware requirements, assemble hardware as required, check quality and take to next process.
Beading - measure apertures for the purpose of cutting beads in accordance with labelled profile, cut beads to required size using automated cutting centre, scan product for tracking and take to quality control.
Composite doors - check works details for specification required, prep frame and slab, hang slab in frame, check quality and take to quality control.
Quality control - scan product to check hardware requirements are correct, check quality, affix consumables and scan into location.
