Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated 3 or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This paid position offers valuable hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work. Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Support in reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Help with the testing and inspection of electrical circuits and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Follow all health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to project deadlines
Skills
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
- Previous electrical experience or coursework is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work safely in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn new skills and develop professionally within the electrical trade
- Saturday overtime is required.
