Job Summary
We are seeking a trainee Concrete Pump Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumping equipment to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of concrete on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, commercial driving experience, and the ability to work in a dynamic construction environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills within the construction industry.
Duties
- Operate concrete pump machinery safely and efficiently during construction projects
- Set up and dismantle pump equipment at various sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with site managers and other trades to deliver concrete precisely where needed
- Conduct routine inspections of the concrete pump
- Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues with pump equipment and liaise with maintenance teams when necessary
Skills
No skills needed. All training given.
Knowledge of construction sites and plant machinery is an advantage.
full manual car license needed, drivers over 25 only.
Cscs card desirable but not needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £150.00-£250.00 per day
