Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Apprentice Electrician to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring electrician who wants structured training, hands-on experience, and long-term career progression within a fast-growing compliance-focused company.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for landlord certification
- Assisting with and eventually carrying out consumer unit replacements
- Installing and upgrading electrical circuits and cabling
- Fault finding and minor remedial works
- Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- Completing accurate certification and documentation
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service while attending residential and rental properties
You will initially work alongside experienced electricians and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills and confidence develop.
Training & Development
We are committed to developing the right candidate. We will provide:
- Full on-the-job training
- Support towards relevant electrical qualifications
- Inspection & Testing training
- Certification training for landlord compliance work
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary projects (electrical, gas, AC, renewables, fire systems)
- Ongoing technical support from senior engineers
We have specialist electricians, gas engineers, air conditioning engineers, and fire engineers within our team, offering excellent opportunities for cross-training and long-term career development.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a basic working knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- Ideally have some exposure to inspection and testing
- Be highly motivated and willing to learn
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be professional and customer-focused
- Be reliable, punctual, and organised
- Be comfortable working independently after training
Essential Requirements:
- Clean UK driving licence
- Aged 24 or over (for vehicle insurance purposes)
- Right to work in the UK
