Trade Recruit is pleased to be hiring an Electrician Apprentice on behalf of one of our respected clients operating within the commercial and industrial electrical sector in London.

Working Hours
· Monday to Friday
· Day shifts or night shifts depending on project requirements
· Occasional weekend work available (paid overtime)
Requirements
· A genuine interest in becoming a qualified Electrician
· Enrolled on, or willing to enrol on, an Electrical Apprenticeship
· ECS card (or willing to apply)
· Basic understanding of tools and site safety (training provided)
· Willingness to learn and follow instructions
· Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude
· Able to travel across London
· GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred
What You’ll Be Doing
· Assisting qualified Electricians on commercial and industrial sites
· Learning electrical installation work, including containment, cabling, lighting, and power
· Supporting testing and inspection work under supervision
· Helping prepare materials, tools, and work areas
· Following drawings, instructions, and health & safety procedures
· Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
· Loading and unloading materials at the start and end of shifts
· Gaining hands-on experience while completing your apprenticeship training
Pay & Benefits
- Pay will be in line with UK Apprenticeship Minimum Wage regulations
- Year 1 Apprentices: around £7.55–£9.50/hr
- After Year 1: Pay will increase in line with age-related National Minimum Wage and experience
- Regular pay reviews as skills and experience develop
- Overtime available on some projects
- Full support provided throughout the apprenticeship, including on-site training and development
