Trade Recruit is pleased to be hiring an Electrician Apprentice on behalf of one of our respected clients operating within the commercial and industrial electrical sector in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is keen to learn the electrical trade, gain hands-on site experience, and build a long-term career within a supportive and professional company.

Working Hours

· Monday to Friday

· Day shifts or night shifts depending on project requirements

· Occasional weekend work available (paid overtime)

Requirements

· A genuine interest in becoming a qualified Electrician

· Enrolled on, or willing to enrol on, an Electrical Apprenticeship

· ECS card (or willing to apply)

· Basic understanding of tools and site safety (training provided)

· Willingness to learn and follow instructions

· Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude

· Able to travel across London

· GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred

What You’ll Be Doing

· Assisting qualified Electricians on commercial and industrial sites

· Learning electrical installation work, including containment, cabling, lighting, and power

· Supporting testing and inspection work under supervision

· Helping prepare materials, tools, and work areas

· Following drawings, instructions, and health & safety procedures

· Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe

· Loading and unloading materials at the start and end of shifts

· Gaining hands-on experience while completing your apprenticeship training

Pay & Benefits

Pay will be in line with UK Apprenticeship Minimum Wage regulations
Year 1 Apprentices: around £7.55–£9.50/hr
After Year 1: Pay will increase in line with age-related National Minimum Wage and experience
Regular pay reviews as skills and experience develop
Overtime available on some projects
Full support provided throughout the apprenticeship, including on-site training and development
