Plumber/3rd Year Apprentice / Recently Qualified Plumber (Domestic & Renewables)

The role
We’re looking for a Plumber, 3rd-year apprentice or recently qualified plumber to join our team. You’ll be working on new-build houses and extensions, carrying out first and second fix plumbing while also getting hands-on experience with renewable systems such as air source heat pumps (ASHP), underfloor heating, and modern hot water setups.
This isn’t a “stand in the corner and pass tools” role — you’ll be expected to crack on, ask questions, and take responsibility as your confidence grows.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out first and second fix plumbing under supervision
- Assisting with installation of ASHP pipework, cylinders, buffer tanks and UFH systems
- Reading drawings and understanding plumbing layouts
- Fault finding basics and snagging work
- Preparing materials and setting out work areas
- Working to current regulations and site safety standards
- Supporting testing, filling, flushing and commissioning
What we’re looking for
- 3rd-year apprentice or recently qualified plumber
- Good grounding in domestic plumbing systems
- Interest in renewables and low-temperature heating systems
- Able to work independently but knows when to ask for help
- Strong work ethic and good attitude (goes a long way)
- Driving licence with own transport
