About the Role:
ME+EM are seeking a Sustainability Intern for a one-year, paid internship. To Provide support to the Head of Sustainability to deliver our CSR strategy and agreed actions. The role requires cross functional collaboration, and engagement with external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain internal trackers relating to social audits, certifications and
memberships. - Maintain and update document library (digital and hard copy) relating to code of conduct
and supplier manual. - Assist with traceability platform and supply chain data collection.
- Maintain and update external membership platforms with required information e.g LWG,
RAF, Lenzing. - Assist with researching and implementing requirements for new materials certifications.
- Conduct and cascade regular comp shops, benchmarking our sustainable actives against
appropriate brands. - Attend relevant seminars, taking minutes and cascading accordingly.
- Work with Sustainability team to review customer facing copy in line with our marketing
guidelines. - Support with data collection for our carbon project, collaborating with teams across the
business. - Support strategic projects e.g Positive Luxury certification, circularity initiatives and
compliance. - Assisting with internal and external sample sales.
