Duties
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the wiring, fitting, and testing of electrical components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Help with the preparation of work sites, including setting up scaffolding and safety barriers
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain organised work areas and report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems
Requirements
- Basic understanding of electrical principles is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
