Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in food production machinery.
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding and diagnostics under supervision.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Work with experienced engineers to install and test new equipment and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues to the engineering team.
- Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production performance.
Qualifications

Entry Requirements
GCSEs at grades A-C / 9-4* in: English, Maths

Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
