Itâs the baseline.\n\nKey Responsibilities (Under Supervision)\nâ¢\tPerform core engineering activities\nâ¢\tAssist engineers with breakdown response and fault finding\nâ¢\tSupport planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities\nâ¢\tLearn the importance of environmental good practices and sustainability.\nâ¢\tMaintaining, diagnosing and resolving faults for the engineering asset. \nâ¢\tInspect and testing of the engineering asset.\nâ¢\tLearn how to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings\nâ¢\tSupport installation and commissioning of new equipment\nâ¢\tObserve and gradually support PLC and automation fault diagnostics\nâ¢\tAssist in maintaining engineering documentation\nâ¢\tParticipate in continuous improvement activities to improve OEE\nâ¢\tAttend team meetings and contribute ideas\nâ¢\tMaintain high standards of hygiene and GMP compliance\n H&S\nMaintenance and engineering functions\nProblem solving, \nIT skills, Importance of PPMâs, \nStock control, Root cause analysis, \nInter departmental team work.\no\tMechanical maintenance\no\tElectrical systems\no\tPneumatics & hydraulics\no\tAutomation & control systems\no\tFood safety and compliance\n Nationals in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above preferred)\nHave a can do attitude\nGood work ethic \nComfortable team player and ability to use your own initiative\nEffective communicator\nFlexible and positive mind set\n\n
