Essex Commercial Vehicles are a mobile fleet maintenance provider based in Colchester. Covering all aspects of repairs and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles. We provide a fleet support service carrying out inspections, services, diagnostics and MOT preps to our customers vehicles, all on their sites. We cover the whole Essex region, working on an array of different vehicles (Flat beds, curtain siders, grabs, tippers, hook loaders and trailers).
Job description
We are looking for an eager hard working apprentice who wants to become a fully qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician. They will be working alongside a fully qualified HGV technician, learning the skills needed to become a HGV mechanic. Including- PMI's, MOT preps, Diagnostics and Servicing. They will be attending a college course and be put through extra training to increase there skills and knowledge of the job.
Working week- 40 hour working week Monday-Friday.
Employment- 3 year apprenticeship. And full contract at the end of apprenticeship.
Skills and quality's- Enthusiastic, Hard working, takes pride in their work, problem solving, able to listen and follow instructions.
Licence/Certification:
- CPC or Driving Licence (required)
