Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a an Apprentice Baker. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our Bakery, focusing on food production of various breads and use of the hotplate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cooking and baking, with a keen understanding of food safety practices. Please note this job role is Sunday to Thursday 6am-4pm.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of different product offerings.
- Assist in food production tasks, ensuring quality and presentation meet the required standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the Bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other Bakery staff to ensure efficient workflow during service periods. .
- Provide support in baking tasks, ensuring all baked goods meet quality expectations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional Bakery setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong Baking skills with an emphasis on culinary techniques and presentation is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
