We are looking for enthusiastic Apprentices interested in pursuing a career in Catering Equipment Engineering. If you think this is you, come and speak to us about joining our established team of engineers at our Exeter branch. Working under the guidance of an experienced engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of various gas and electrical catering equipment or Air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment. There are various career paths open to you in this industry and within our company and if you have the motivation, we would love to speak to you about a future with us and how we can start you off and support you on your very own engineering journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and service of various types of commercial catering equipment.
- Support experienced engineers on-site.
- Attend college and complete a comprehensive training package over 3 years to achieve necessary qualifications.
- Attend site safety and other Health & Safety courses.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs with Grade 4 or above in Maths and English
- Basic understanding of electrical or plumbing works would be considered an advantage but is not essential.
- Physically fit and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Strong timekeeping, flexibility, and willingness to work overtime when required.
Personal Attributes:
- Curious nature, interested in how things work and why.
- Ability to work well as part of a team whilst also providing own input.
- Enthusiastic, committed, and demonstrates a positive "can-do" attitude.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (required).
