About Aspire Procurement Training:
Aspire is the training division of Slater Austin. Aspire trains the next generation of aspiring supply chain professionals. Aspire is an Ofsted GOOD training provider, also accredited as a CIPS Centre of Excellence and as a training provider with APM. Aspire has grown successfully every year since 2012, delivering procurement, supply chain and leadership training through professional qualifications, apprenticeships and short courses to organisations. We are looking for highly motivated and engaging skills coaches to join our growing business.
About the job:
The team is looking to bring in an additional skills / development coach, to aid with the growth in our procurement, project management and leadership apprenticeships. The role is offered as a part-time or full-time position.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Motivating apprentices to keep on track with the completion of the apprenticeship programme and their individual assignments
- Reviewing apprentice coursework and submissions
- Working collaboratively with the apprentices and their employers to deliver excellent learning and results for each apprentice
- Aiding the apprentices on their balance between work and studying
- Working with the curriculum and apprenticeship programme teams to improve both the learner experience and success rates
Key Performance Measures (KPIs):
- Apprentice performance and progression
- Timely and complete reviews with employers and learners
- Drive towards excellence in communication and feedback
- Learner and employer satisfaction rates
Competencies:
The ideal candidate will:-
- Have qualifications in assessment (compulsory), coaching, mentoring and/or teaching (advantageous)
- Have experience in either procurement, project management or leadership apprenticeships
- Be able to plan and organise their own time
- Command strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate behaviours aligned to Aspire's core behaviours: 1) Be inspirational, 2) Add value, 3) Be inclusive, 4) Be a learner yourself

Package:
- 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), plus birthdays off
- Pension Contribution 3% + 5%
- £33.5-£37.5k
- Up to 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
