We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Engineering Apprentice.
Working within different departments, as an Engineering Apprentice, you will support our existing team, whilst working towards an Engineering Fitter, Level 3 Apprenticeship.
You will become adept at supporting all production processes, whilst developing your own technical skillset. Amongst other activities, you will assist with technical support, and production queries, identify and implement process improvements, and assist with standard operating procedures. In addition, you will develop skills in technical writing, drawing, and presenting.
The Apprenticeship Course will be led through Maxim Business Training (Macclesfield College) and day release will be provided for this. You will receive full support and feel part of a team.
Various pathways are available following on from the apprenticeship, and we can offer diversity into Aerospace & Military, Product Design & Development, Technical Support and many more.
We are looking for candidates who have a genuine interest in an engineering career with STI as well as have some form of understanding of wiring & reading schematics.
To attend the Level 3 course, you will need a minimum of GSCE Grade C / 4 in English and Maths.
Your day release will be based at our site in Poynton, Cheshire.
