Hospitality ApprenticeThe Apprenticeship in Hospitality Scotland is a 2-year industry-led apprenticeship program aimed to inspire, nurture and develop the next generation of highly skilled talent for the Scottishhospitality industry. The apprenticeship offers the opportunity to 'earn while you learn' and develop the key skills to achieve an SCQF Level 5 in Hospitality services.
This 2-year programme, beginning June 2025, will allow you to experience 6 months in 4 different departments at Trump Turnberry: Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Kitchen and Reception.

Essential Functions
Work as part of the Housekeeping team to gain an understanding of all Housekeeping core & service standards. Learn to service a bedroom to a luxury 5* level.
Work within our Food & Beverage operations across the Resort; our signature 1906 breakfast/dinner restaurant, Grand Tea Lounge & Bar, Duel in the Sun restaurant & our Banqueting department facilitating large events (weddings, conferences, charity balls etc.) Deliver luxury 5* service.
Train alongside our culinary team and assist with the production of high-quality, freshly prepared food. Ensure excellent and enduring standards of both food hygiene/safety and personal hygiene/presentation throughout the kitchen department.
Supporting our reception teams with all guest relation tasks such as checking in & out and dealing with guest requests to a luxury 5* level.
Candidate Specification
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Applicants must be aged between 17 and 24 to be considered for this apprenticeship programme
- Ability to communicate freely in the local language
- Open and friendly person with a desire to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- A team player, contributing positively to team performance
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
