Role Purpose
- Assisting the Commercial Finance teams with the management accounting for the Energy Portfolio (Europe, Asia, Africa)
- Working with the Commercial Finance teams to improve business efficiency and commercial decision making by enhancing management information, reporting and financial forecasting
- Assisting the Financial controller and financial accountant with month end and financial accounting for the Energy portfolio (Europe, Asia, Africa)
- Ensuring that processes are followed to provide and maintain a strong financial management and control environment
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Work with Finance teams to assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet packs;
- Keep Event trackers reconciled and up to date with actual spend from Financial force on a regular basis;
- Assisting with the reporting of weekly sales reports when required;
- Work with the Finance teams where required on the budgeting and forecasting process across the Energy portfolio;
- Provide quality analysis and reporting insights where required;
- Provide support for the Financial controller and financial accountant with month end processes
- Ensuring a strong financial control environment is maintained;
- Carry out any reasonable project work / ad hoc task as requested;
- Attend training and development as required;

- University student studying accountancy related degree
