This apprenticeship programme is designed to develop you over 3 years to reach a minimum level of a skilled shift electrical and instrumentation technician.
You will obtain a nationally recognised apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance, with qualifications including Level 2 Performing Manufacturing Operations and Level 3 in Process Industries Operations. You will also have the opportunity to apply for a HNC Engineering qualification.
During your apprenticeship you will learn to work in an efficient and confident way, and develop skills such as:
- Mechanical/Engineering aptitude
- Technical systems knowledge
- Trouble shooting through hands on experience
- Strong communication and collaboration
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong Health and Safety awarenessSTEM skills
We’ll provide all of the tools to help you succeed. In return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm and passion to learn and develop.
We keep our list of requirements short, but there are a few that you will need:
- You will have a minimum of 4 GCSE qualifications at standard grade C/grade 5 or above, including Maths and English
- You will be willing to learn and take a positive approach to problem solving
- You will have the ability to be flexible and manage time effectively
- You will have great attention to detailYou will be a team player
