Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising work areas.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed.
- Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.
Skills
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous but not essential.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
