We are looking for someone who would like to complete a work based early years qualification

We are fortunate to be positioned in the heart of Newton St Loe within a working farm surrounded by beautiful woodland with plenty of opportunity for walks and forest school based activities
We are looking for someone passionate about early years education and care. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be confident in liaising with children’s families. Successful candidates will demonstrate a clear love for working with children 6 months to five years old and committed to supporting children’s early learning and development in line with the early years foundation stage.
You will receive on the job training and will be enrolled within our providers apprenticeship course to gain your level 3 qualification in childcare. You will be supported in house to develop the knowledge and skills required to complete the qualification assessment.
Applicants should have a good basic level of education and ideally be able to drive.
Successful candidates will have respect and a clear understanding of our duty to safeguarding children. You will be expected to adhere to the Nursery’s policies and procedures. The position is subject to a full DBS check and completion of a full induction and training.
The post is Monday to Friday between the hours of 0730-1800 we alternate shifts throughout the week. Minimum of 33.5 hours a week.
