Title: UAT Tester
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Jackson, MS 39211
Position: Remote (Remote but resource must be onsite for 10 business days between 11/1/2024 - 12/31/2024.)
30 hours per week.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position requires an individual to follow a structured process for reviewing Vendor test cases and test results; ensure that SIT test coverage aligns with project requirements and standards. Execute test cases and assist with UX testing.
Major Responsibilities
-Follow structured process for reviewing Vendor test cases and test results.
-Ensure that SIT test coverage aligns with project requirements and standards.
-Assist with environment smoke testing as needed to ensure that test environment(s) are set up to simulate end-to-end scenarios.
-Test Case Execution and Monitoring Execute test cases including:
Functional testing
End-to-End scenarios
Report Validation
Data Validation
ADA Compliance
Regression testing
-Document test results, including any defects or issues.
-Continuously monitor and report on the progress of end-to-end testing efforts.
-Identify areas of concern / opportunities for improvement
-Assist UAT Test Manager with resource coordination and test case assignments for expanded UX test team (MDCPS Staff)
Required Skills/Experience- Twelve (12) years of experience application testing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge transfer skills
