What will I be doing?
Gloucester's Site Services Electrician's perform a vital role within Safran's ability to ensure all of the sites vital facilities are functioning in line with HSE, planned maintenance and all Regulatory requirements. Operating in this high-pressure environment with tight deadlines and changing demands, your main responsibility will be the installation, fault-finding, maintaining and the inspection & testing of electrical supplies and associated permanently connected equipment (lighting, ventilation, fans etc), with additional support for any electrical requirements for projects. These activities are to be carried out in a manner that conforms to any Statutory Regulatory requirements and comply with any internal policy and procedures.
- Support the Site Services requirements for the installation and maintenance of the fixed wire low-voltage distribution systems on the Gloucester Site
- Work Order management via Computerised Maintenance Management system (CMMS) Carl Source
- Support of all Audit requirements, where applicable
- Support of statutory testing requirements for the Inspection & Testing.
- Adherence to Safe Systems of Working.
- Supply technical support.
- Support for all major site installations/development reference to capital expenditure requirements covering the fixed wire low-voltage distribution systems.
- Support all budgetary requirements.
- Support the team's deliverables in terms of quality, cost, delivery and HS&E.
- Supporting action plans to resolve issues, which affect Site Services' ability to deliver.
What do you need from me?
You will have a keen interest in science and engineering and be able to demonstrate a methodical and thorough approach to work.
You will possess excellent problem solving abilities.
The role of apprentice will require you to be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will be a motivated, hardworking individual with excellent planning and organisational skills. The ability to effectively work as part of a team and on your own will be key to your success.
Successful candidates will need to have achieved, or expect to achieve at least 5 GCSE's - including Math and English - Grade A-C or 4-9, Science and a technology

Time shared between the Safran Landing Systems Services site and the Training Providers site, both located in the local area
