Job Purpose:
Support the assembly, wiring and testing of Equipped Pillars including working hours and works orders are recorded in an accurate and timely manner. Support on quality issues that are reported and recorded with corrective actions put in place to prevent reoccurrence.

Job Context:
- To support the equipped pillar team fitting, wiring, testing and inspecting
- Support testing of products to ensure quality and safety systems are met and comply with 18th edition of IEE regs and BSEN 60439
- Understand how to report on works order progress to include efficiencies, start and completion dates and impacts to the planned completion dates.
- Support recording and reporting on all quality issues.
- Ensure all work equipment is operated in a safe manner and that equipment is always maintained and operational.
- Champion and promote a highly performing Health and Safety culture
- Identify risks in the workplace and in conjunction with the operations manager create risk assessments and safe systems of work to control and reduce the risk.
- Continually seeking and implementing better workplace efficiencies
Job Dimensions:
This role will require a strong willingness to complete practical and academic training as part of their apprenticeship program and qualify as a fully certified skilled electrician. The role will provide an environment to learn opposite skilled electricians with a designated assigned mentor throughout the program. This role will start in Janurary.
Key Accountabilities:
- Learn to interpret BOM’s, General Arrangement drawings and wiring schematics
- Gain knowledge of Low Voltage Distribution
- Learn and undertake electrical fault finding
- Satisfactory agreed attendance of college and/or training Centre
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Computer literate (Word/Excel)
- Grade 3/C in GCE Mathematics and English
- Grade 3/C in physics advantageous
- H&S focused
- Ability to apply Continuous Improvement techniques
