The work of the Aircraft Apprentice Mechanic is to open and close aircraft panels working with mechanic hand tools. The job duties consist of using hand tools to remove screws on access panels of the aircraft, performing limited aircraft maintenance, cleaning grease grime in wheel wells and aircraft underbelly, removing corrosion protection, and working with different chemicals. As may apply to any particular work assignment, will complete additional jobs as directed by management, and will work according to Company policy and/or regulations.

Tucson, AZ.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
- Must be able to perform the following functions in variable weather conditions as well as environmental conditions, i.e. jet engine fumes, chemical emissions, dust and jet engine noise and work from heights.
- Lifts objects weighing up to 50lbs; reach, bend, and twist in confined spaces
- Cognitive skills to check condition, clean, sort, count, salvage and/or store equipment, and assemble kits.
- Operate scissor lifts and ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to judge distances.
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Candidate must have very good mechanical skills, and be able to follow instructions.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

- Full-time, Contract
- Shift Work: Front Half Days - Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Wed 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM | Back Half Days - Thu, Fri, Sat and every other Wed 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM | Night Shift - Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thurs 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (must be willing to work either shift).
- Paid orientation that will last one week.
