Business Degree Apprentice

Overview of the role
A developing role for a degree apprentice, to provide support to the S&C team and the wider business alongside a degree apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development team with tenders, bids, quotations and compliance documentation
- Conduct market research and provide data analysis to support business development and strategic reporting
- Maintain CRM (Business Central) records and support system administration and development activity
- Assist with marketing materials, presentations and exhibition support
- Provide technical and compliance support to Business Development and R&D teams as required
- Work closely with Sales, Commercial and other departments, providing cover and cross‑functional support as needed
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake additional duties to support the wider business
Essential Qualifications, Skills and/or Experience
- 5 GCSEs/O Levels or equivalent Grades C or above (Must include English)
- 112 UCAS points or equivalent e.g. BBC A levels/Merit T-Level
- Permitted to work in the UK
- Desire to undertake a degree apprenticeship
- Sound knowledge of MS Office applications
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and/or Experience
· ·Experience of sales and marketing
- Experience of business commercial processes
- Knowledge of business administration processes
- Military experience ( Regular or Reserves)
- Familiar with using Business Central or similar CRM software
- Knowledge of countermeasure technologies and the defence industry
aThis role will be worked over a 4.5 day week; Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday 08:00 – 12:30.
