An opportunity has arisen within our production team for 2No. Trainee Stone Masons. This role is based in our production workshop in Lieurary Quarry, Thurso and involves learning and using a variety of equipment and techniques to produce our range of Caithness flagstone products.

Requirements:
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read order documentation, schedules and drawings
- Good acumen for maths
- Physically capable of taking on the varied manual handling activities
- Must be able to follow procedures and processes. This is key to ensure both product quality as well as health and safety requirements are met
- Good technical skills, willingness to learn and patience. We have a wide range of products which all require the same high standard of finish
As this role is a trainee role, comprehensive on-site training will be provided however working experience in quarrying or construction industries are advantageous.
