NDL Group N Ltd are a fast-growing commercial drainage company delivering CCTV surveys, reactive works, and civils projects across the region.
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Drainage Engineer to join the team and take ownership of site-based works.
This is not a basic role — we want someone who can think, problem solve, and deliver quality work on site.
The Role
- Carry out CCTV surveys on new and existing drainage systems
- Patch Line
- Deliver customer care / reactive works
- Undertake civils works including excavations and repairs
- Complete patch lining and small lining works
- Attend domestic and commercial jobs
- Diagnose drainage issues and recommend solutions on site
- Work closely with the office team to report findings
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in drainage works (essential)
- CCTV surveying experience (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of defects, repairs, and remedial methods
- Confident working on site independently or as part of a team
- Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients
- Full UK driving licence required
- VALID CSCS
- Aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)
Desirable (but not essential)
- OS19 CCTV Surveying
- Confined space training
- High pressure water jetting experience
- Street works / NRSWA
- Experience working to industry standards (WRC / HSG47 etc.)

Working Hours
- This role can involve long hours
- Based on approximately 50 hours per week
- Overtime expected depending on workload and job requirements
- Participation in an on-call rota may be required
Working Conditions
- This is a site-based role involving physical work
- Work can be demanding and hands-on
- You will be expected to work in all weather conditions
Location & Travel
- Work is site-based across various locations
- Jobs are typically located within 2 hours of Northampton
- Travel is required daily depending on job location

Health, Safety & Compliance
- All works must be carried out in line with company Health & Safety procedures and site-specific RAMS
- You will be required to follow all safe systems of work, including confined space procedures where applicable
- Use of appropriate PPE at all times is mandatory
- Compliance with excavation safety, manual handling, and plant operation standards is essential
- All successful candidates will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test as part of the induction process
- Ongoing adherence to company standards, site rules, and client requirements is expected at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Work Location: On the road
