Pay
Typically between £28k - £38k for new trainees, depending on shifts, locations, and competencies etc.
Hours
35-45 hours per week, depending on contracts. Typical shift work, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays and potentially working away.

The Role
Railway maintaining and repairing the tracks to keep trains running safely and on time. The role involves physical outdoor work such as replacing sleepers, rails, and ballast, following strict safety standards under supervised teams. Requirements
Must be:
- Able to pass a medical and drugs / alcohol screening
- Willing to do physically demanding manual labour
- Open to shift work, working nights, working away
- Eligible to work in the UK (right to work)
- Able to commute to Salford, Greater Manchester (base)
