TRAINEE OPERATOR
PERMANENT | BRYNMAWR, SOUTH WALES
We are currently looking for multiple Trainee Operators, preferably with experience in Extrusion to join our production team based at our site in South Wales. The successful candidates will join an already established team working over a shift pattern dependant on which factory you’re offered.
Salary: £13.5212 per hour
Shift Pattern: 2-Shift Rotation (Monday to Friday 06:00–14:15, Monday to Thursday 13:45–22:00 and Friday 13.45 -19:30)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manually packing product from the extrusion lines
- Loading finished goods onto pallet with 15 & 25kg bags ready for shipping
- Operating the FLT to transport finished goods
- Operating multiple extrusion lines
- Regular process audits and clean down
- Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and processes as part of the shift team
- Working as part of a team, assisting others in carrying out their duties within the production area
- Having the willingness to pass on knowledge and experience to others
- You will be working in teams and operating large scale machinery to very specific conditions
- Ensuring that a safe working environment and our industry standards are always maintained
EXPERIENCE
- Operating machinery desirable but not essential
- Experience of shift work desirable but not essential
- FLT licence desirable but will receive full training to achieve this
