Equipment Maintenance Engineering\n\nOur Award-Winning Engineering apprenticeship programme is a 4-year Modern Apprenticeship. It was introduced by the company in 2007. \n\nAs an engineering apprentice youâll work on a variety of state-of-the-art machinery, including robotics, vision systems, advanced PLC automation and control systems, as well as the more traditional Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Electrical disciplines.\n\nYouâll obtain your qualifications through UHI Inverness, which is based at Inverness Campus. The successful candidates will be enrolled in August 2026, and the programme will commence in early September 2026. During this 4-year programme, youâll gain hands-on experience working on a variety of state-of-the-art machinery, including robotics, vision systems, advanced PLC automation and control systems, as well as the more traditional Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Electrical disciplines. Weâre looking for applications from candidates who have either attained, or are working to attain the following:\n\nHigher Maths/English, plus another STEM related subject, e.g. Physics, or an equivalent Engineering qualification. \n
