Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an HR Apprentice to join our team in located in our Cardiff Head Office.
An HR Apprentice supports the Human Resources department by assisting with daily administrative tasks, recruitment activities, employee records management, and HR projects. This role provides hands-on experience in HR operations while the apprentice completes relevant training or coursework. It is ideal for individuals starting a career in Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding processes by preparing documentation, welcoming new hires, and updating systems.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
- Help coordinate training sessions, staff meetings, and HR initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate HR team member.
- Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, contracts, and reports.
- Support employee engagement activities and company events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
- Take part in apprenticeship training and apply learning to daily HR tasks.
You Will Need:
- A minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Basic understanding of HR functions (training will be provided).
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, HR systems).
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
