This role is designed for highly motivated early-career professionals seeking rigorous training and real transaction exposure in middle-market investment banking. Analysts are integral members of deal teams and contribute across transaction execution and business development.
Responsibilities
- Build financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction-related analyses.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and confidential deal marketing materials.
- Analyze company financials, operating performance, and industry dynamics.
- Conduct industry and company research; synthesize findings into clear insights.
- Develop lists of potential buyers, investors, and acquisition targets.
- Support senior bankers in day-to-day transaction execution and business development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and demonstrated leadership.
- Coursework in finance, accounting, and economics required; chemistry or engineering coursework preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled research and productivity tools preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and work extended hours when required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Fluency in English; U.S. work authorization required.
- Prior internship or relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance is a plus.
