The CORE POWER Internship Scheme is designed to provide an unrivalled experience at the cutting edge of innovation. Placements are available across all business units, in the UK and the U.S. From day 1 you will have the opportunity to work with our team as well as partner organisations on work that really matters to the future of maritime nuclear. The Internship Scheme is paid and is expected to run between June and the end of August.
Job Description:
CORE POWER are looking for an intern to work directly with our leadership team on a number of exciting projects. This role has been created for an ambitious and forward-thinking individual to join our team and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, and senior business leaders. You’ll be exposed to a broad range of business initiatives and be developed with the necessary tools, skills, and insights needed to excel in the business world. Including hands-on project involvement, taking minutes in board and senior management meetings, and shadowing seasoned leaders. This role would be ideal for someone looking to kickstart a career in business operations, finance, project management or within shipping industry more generally.
This role has the potential to become a full time position on successful completion of the internship.
Internship Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or finance related field.
- An MBA or a master’s degree would be beneficial.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative, confidence, and accountability.
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in changing environments.
